In football, it’s an open secret that his dream job is to coach Liverpool—just as Real Madrid, which he previously left, was another dream role, and Bayern Munich probably is as well. However, the Bayern job is not currently vacant, and the same goes for Liverpool—despite their disappointing and lackluster season. Some fans are unhappy with Slot, but Liverpool’s current ownership plans to retain him.
